Our History

Winery located in Casas de Haro (basin) in the vicinity of the "Ribera del Júcar" a unique microclimate. The altitude and the 740m. with gentle slopes, varying textures soils of sandy loam to, appreciating the surface a layer of pebbles, very characteristic of our area, with presence of significant mass of pines and oaks.

  "The Magdalena" Sociedad Cooperativa de Castilla-La Mancha was founded in 1958 by 60 local growers, and at present with about 290 members, who deliver grapes of 1,600 acres of his property in varieties: Tempranillo, Bobal , Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache and Merlot, as well as white varieties Airen, Macabeo and Moscatel de Grano Menudo.

  In recent years it has carried out the incorporation of new technologies in the winery and a barrel aging cellar in French and American oak.

 Armed with all this cutting edge technology and with the constant commitment to customer quality wines are made of this company. In 1990 the first wines are bottled in the history of the Cooperative, with the brand "Vega Moragona" Red and Pink Cencibel subsequently incorporated as a step in the good work of this society: Parenting and the high selection. Currently VEGA brand bottled Moragona the DO "Ribera del Júcar" basis and THE VENTICA as wine Tierra de Castilla.

"The Magdalena" Sdad. Coop. C-LM has adequate facilities for the production of quality wines.       It has a cellar of 250 barrels of American oak and French, the idea is to produce the best wine possible from Cencibel strains (Tempranillo) rainfed high aged between 35 and 65
