Castilla-La Mancha presents the promotional campaign "Wines of Spain of Don Quixote

TOLEDO. The wine sector in Castilla-La Mancha in Cologne made a date to present the new promotional campaign "Wines of Spain of Don Quixote" to a large representation of science journalists.

   The acting president of the Foundation "Castilla-La Mancha, Land Vineyards" and Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, welcomed the presence of journalists, and addressing them remarked "you are a demanding audience, who understand much of the wine world and operation, and your presence is undoubtedly a unique showcase for our wines, because you are opinion leaders. "

   During the event there were a total of 19 wines, to show the diversity of grape varieties and wine are produced in Castilla-La Mancha, and that time has been adapting to consumer tastes of domestic and international, the latter being the target of the action "Wines of Spain of Don Quixote."

PROMOTION

   This promotional campaign aims to increase the presence of Castilian-La Mancha wines United States, Japan, Russia and China. Performing the financing of the various promotional activities in the framework of the CMO for wine.

   Castilla-La Mancha Autonomous Community is going to invest more in the promotion and the first region in number of companies that have projects. Aid for promotion in third countries covered by the CMO in wine will enable the Foundation "Castilla-La Mancha, Land Vineyards" also promotes the wines of the region in these four countries.

   In this regard, in 2009, have launched 28 projects with a total budget of two million euros, among which is the Foundation, which this year has a budget of 653,000 euros.

   Next year the cooperatives and wineries of the Autonomous Region will launch a total of 92 projects with an investment of 16.8 million euros, among which are the 4.3 million euros allocated to the Foundation wine promotion in third countries.
