odegas La Magdalena is located in the southeastern province of Cuenca. The elevation is 740 m. above sea level, with gentle slopes, varying textures of the soils of sandy loam to covered by layers of boulders and cobbles, very characteristic of the area, and interspersed by large masses of pine and oak.
The special soil conditions of the Ribera del Jucar, where soil depth, together with the layer of pebbles, allowing a homogeneous and optimal ripening of the grapes, providing an exceptional quality raw material for winemaking.
Generation after generation, our growers have developed farming techniques that today allow us to maximize the unique climate and soil conditions, obtaining wines of great complexity gifted and strong personality.
The varieties grown are Bobal, Tempranillo, Grenache, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, in inks and Airen, Macabeo, Verdejo and Moscatel de Grano Menudo in White.
